Electronic Travel Authorization for Entry into Israel
Please note that as of January 1, 2025, all international travelers from visa-exempt countries must have a valid ETA-IL (Electronic Travel Authorization) prior to departing for Israel.
Key ETA Details:
- Visitors with a valid ETA-IL can stay up to 90 days in Israel.
- The ETA-IL is valid for up to 2 years or until the passport expires.
- In case of passport renewal or changes in personal information, a new ETA-IL will be required.
- The ETA-IL’s cost will be 25 ILS (~$7 USD/ ~$10 CAD).
- International travelers who require a valid visa to visit Israel do not need to apply for the ETA-IL as well. Please note that the application form will only be accessible beginning June 1, 2024.
- Processing time within a few minutes up to 72 hours. You should apply prior to booking your trip.
