While undertaking this academic pilgrimage, one thing is certain: the unique character and historical significance of every location is unmistakable. Each site offers immersive, primary-source engagement with the history and faith of the biblical narrative – from the patriarchs and prophets to the life, ministry, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

The locations below represent a sample of the itinerary to come; refer to the program itinerary for your institution’s specific course of study.

Considering a study tour to this extraordinary land invites serious academic and spiritual reflection. All of this converges toward a profound outcome: a deepened scholarly and spiritual understanding of Scripture, a firsthand encounter with the Holy Land as a living text, and a lasting contribution to your students’ theological and personal formation.

This Holy Land itinerary is customizable to the academic objectives of the leading faculty member or ministry director, and great thought and care is placed into every aspect of the learning journey.

TOUR ITINERARY

Day 1 - DEPART FOR ISRAEL

Depart from the US on an overnight flight to Tel Aviv, Israel.

Day 2 - ARRIVE IN TEL AVIV

Upon arrival in Tel Aviv, settle into your comfortable accommodations at a coastal hotel.

Day 3 - ALONG THE COAST

Visit the ancient Roman city of Caesarea.  Then continue to Mount Carmel, the valley of Meggido, Nazareth, and Cana.

Day 4- GALILEE

Visit the famed Mt. of Beatitudes, as well as Capernaum, Gadera, and the Ancient Boat museum.  Enjoy a St. Peters fish lunch, then take a serene open-air wooden boat ride on the Sea of Galilee.

Day 5 - THE NORTH

Travel to the Golan Heights while driving by Mt. Hermon and Nimrod’s Castle.  Visit Caesarea Philippi, Tel Dan, and the Headwaters of the Jordan River.

Day 6 - THE JORDAN VALLEY

Tour Beit Shean, Gideon’s Spring, and Sachne. Stop at Qasr El Yahud, the site of John the Baptist’s ministry, as you make your way up to Jerusalem

Day 7 - JERUSALEM

Retrace the steps of Jesus as you visit the Mount of Olives, Palm Sunday Road, and the Garden of Gethsemane.  Explore the Old City, Southern Steps, Western Wall Tunnel, and the Temple Mount.  Discover the City of David at Jeremiah’s Cistern, Hezekiah’s Tunnel, and the Pool of Siloam.

Day 8 - JUDEAN DESERT

Journey up to Masada, Ein Gedi, the Dead Sea, and the caves of Qumran.

Day 9 - JERUSALEM

Visit Mt. Zion, Jewish Quarter, Temple Institute, Herodian Mansion, and the Western Wall.  Continue on on to the Pool of Bethesda, St. Anne’s Church, Antonia Fortress, the Way of the Cross, Calvary, and finally the Garden Tomb.

Day 10 - DEPART FOR THE USA

End your tour with a transfer to the Tel Aviv airport for your flight home.

Optional Extension

DAY 10 - EILAT

Travel down to the coastal resort town of Eilat and enjoy the remainder of the day at your leisure.

DAY 11 - PETRA

Cross over into Jordan for a trip to the Rose-Red city of Petra.

DAY 12 - DEPART FOR USA

End your tour with a transfer to the Tel Aviv airport for your flight home.
